Relationships
Lookups, child records and how they are used in queries and writes.
- A lookup field points at another entity. Queries join lookups automatically, including lookups of lookups, when you select, filter or sort on them.
- Child relationships connect an entity to its detail records, such as order lines. Inserts can include child records in the same transaction, and queries can include children.
- Relationship settings decide what happens on delete: cascade the soft delete to children, or block the delete.
- Workspace access flows along relationships: records related to a workspace inherit its membership rules.
