The problem

What goes wrong today

Today
Once a deal is signed, onboarding is a checklist in someone’s head. Identity checks, account setup in other systems and the welcome email all happen by hand, and new customers wait while the team works out who does what.

How it runs on TechAppForce

A day with it, step by step

Amber steps wait in a person's work inbox; everything else moves on its own.

  1. A deal is signedAt a business software company, sales closes a new customer. The onboarding record is created with the plan and start date.
  2. Checks run on their ownA workflow sends the company details to the identity-check service. The result comes back clean and is stored on the record.
  3. Setup and welcomeThe record moves to Setup. The customer’s admin receives the welcome email, and the onboarding owner gets the steps for this plan.
  4. Training bookedThe owner books training, uploads the attendance sheet and moves the record to Training.
  5. LiveMarking the onboarding Live sends a webhook to the billing system, and the customer’s first invoice goes out on the right date.
