The problem
The report is always “nearly ready”. Nobody knows who changed the figure.
Exports wait for a developer, spreadsheets are keyed in by hand, and answers live in old emails.

- Manager asks for an export
- A developer writes a query
- Same request, one more column
- Spreadsheets keyed in by hand
- Who changed it? Search old emails
- A report is configuration you change and schedule
- An import is a feature your users run
- People are told the moment work moves
- Every record carries its own history
How we solve it
From spreadsheet to inbox, without a developer
Import it, clean it up, design the report once and schedule it. The history answers questions later.
- Import the historyLast year's invoices, checked first
- Clean up in bulkRetired cost centre moved at once
- Design the reportOn a saved query, in the designer
- Schedule itPDF to finance, 1st of the month
- Answer questions laterHistory shows who changed what

- Change a reportNo developer needed
- Excel importYes, with a validation run
- Change historyKept automatically

Which export formats are supported?
PDF, Excel, Word, CSV and HTML. Reports can be previewed, downloaded or sent by email, and scheduled reports are delivered as a secure download link.
Do we need a developer to change a report?
No. Reports are configuration built on saved queries, so adding a column or a filter is a change you make in the designer and release like anything else. Developers can also design reports in TAF Studio.
Can we import data from Excel?
Yes. Import Excel and CSV files into an entity in bulk, with a validation-only run first. Lookups are resolved by name, and child records are created with their parents.
Is change history something we have to set up?
No. Every record the platform manages keeps who created it, who changed it and when, together with its lifecycle status. Approval decisions are stored as records as well.
Where are files stored?
Storage today is FTP or SFTP, kept separate per app and tenant. Cloud object storage is on the roadmap.
Does TechAppForce connect to BI tools?
There is no packaged BI connector today. Reports, dashboards with charts and pivots, and scheduled exports cover most operational reporting. Talk to us about what you need to connect.

In a demo we import it, build the report your managers ask for every month, and schedule it.
